    Jason Cooper

    eBook
Do you know why no one talks about Vagus Nerve? The vagus nerve has been described as "largely responsible for the mind-body connection" for its role as a mediator between thinking and feelingThe word "vagus" means wandering in Latin. The vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve. It runs all the way from the brain stem to the part of the colon. Why is it so important? The vagus nerve is so long that it affects many areas of our body and if it does not work properly it can cause many problems such as anxiety, stress, breathing problems and chronic illness.By stimulating the vagus nerve you can solve all these problems and many others. As you can imagine the pharmaceutical companies do not like that you can treat your problems with simple exercises, for them it is better to spend thousands of dollars on medicines that do nothing but make the symptoms disappear and not cure the problem at the source. For this reason I decided to gather all my experience, the result of years of study, and write this book. So finally many other people will be able to solve their problems of anxiety, stress, inflammation and other chronic illness problems, as I did. Here is just a small part of what you will find in this book:How the Vagus Nerve is correlated with your health problem? The 7 main functions of the Vagus NerveThe Truth About Stress and HealingAll you need to know about Fight or Flight theoryHow to test your Vagus Nerve7 Powerful Lifestyle tips to activate your Vagus NerveSimple exercises to stimulate your vagus nerveUnfortunately the stimulation of the vagus nerve does not work miracles, it is not possible to cure cancer or other terminal illnesses as some unscrupulous people claim. But what it can do is improve your life, eliminate stress, anxiety, chronic illness and much more.Imagine what your life would be like without all these problems. Are you in a stressful situation? If you are consciously slow down your breathing just for one minute, or even a few seconds, you can put yourself in a calm state, to be able to make the best decision of your life.Take this book, read it carefully, read it again, study it and apply all the tips you find inside it. Then let me know how your life has improved. If it doesn't work, with just one click you can return it and get your money back.Satisfied or refunded.
  • Mithras: Mysteries and Inititation Rediscovered

    D. Jason Cooper

Paperback (Red Wheel / Weiser, June 1, 1996)
Known as Mitra to the Indians, Mithra and Zarathustra (Zoroaster in Greek) to the Iranians, and Mithras to the Romans, this is the oldest of all living deities. Mithras was recognized as the greatest rival of Christianity, a greater threat even than the religion of Isis. If Rome had not become Christian, it would have become Mithrasian. Mithraisians had a sacrament that included wine as a symbol of sacrificial blood. Bread in wafers, or small loaves marked with a cross, was used to symbolize flesh. The priestly symbols were a staff, a ring, a hat, and a hooked sword; members were called brothers, and priests were called "Father." Mithras was born on December 25th. He offered salvation based on faith, compassion, knowledge, and valor. He appealed to the poor, the slave and the freeman, as well as to the Roman aristocracy, the militia, and even to some emperors. The Christians sacked his temples, burned his books, and attacked his followers; they desecrated his temples, and built their own churches on the same foundations as the old Mithraic temples. Cooper examines Mithras and his religion in the most complete study ever done. He explores the various forms of this god--worshiped from Lisbon to modrn Bangladesh, from the Scottish border to the Russian Steppes--and investigates the worship. This is an exciting journey into living mythology, the history of a living god, and will fascinate modern Western readers who want to know more about the spiritual path--whether they want to better understand contemporary Christianity, the basis of many contemporary ideaologies, mythology, or the Western Mystery Tradition.
