  • Penny Dreadful

    Will Christopher Baer

    Paperback (MacAdam/Cage, Sept. 10, 2004)
In this claustrophobic tale of urban despair and existential noir, ex-cop Phineas Poe-protagonist of Will Christopher Baer's first novel, Kiss Me, Judas-returns to Denver to find that reality has been rewritten and the laws of reason redrawn. When Phineas is asked by his old ally, Detective Moon, to find a missing officer named Jimmy Sky, he becomes an unwitting participant in a live role-playing game. Everyone he meets has multiple personalities, and Phineas himself soon loses track of his own various identities. Crossing the lines between traditional noir, fantasy, and edgy realism, Penny Dreadful shares sensibilities with everything from the books of William Gibson and Neal Gaiman to the films Trainspotting and The Matrix and the webgames Doom and Myst.

  • Immortal Nobility

    Christina Williams

    eBook (, June 11, 2013)
As my head went beneath the water I was certain I was drawing my last breath. The icy water filled my lungs. I said a silent prayer. Then it all went black.“My lady, please, open your eyes. Therese…” I heard a beautiful male voice calling my name. It must be an angel. My eyelids were too heavy to open. I was unable to feel my body. Surely I was dead. “Please, Therese. Just open your eyes for a moment to let me know you will be alright,” I heard the angel say. I tried, I really did, but my eyelids were just too heavy. Then I felt the warmth. It was as if there were a circle of flames around us, heating the air, but without smoke. This must be heaven.*****"Immortal Nobility" is a three-chapter prequel to the Young Adult Paranormal Romance "Destined Love is Immortal." This novella provides historical insight into one of the main characters in the first book of the "War Gods Series."

  • A Day with Josiah: Becoming A Leader: Biblical Principles on Dealing with Bullying

    Christina Williams

Paperback (Christian Faith Publishing, Inc, July 30, 2019)
A Day with Josiah was developed through my devotional time with the Lord. I heard the Lord say, "A day with Josiah!" I wrote the title down and asked, "What is that about?" The Lord instructed me to write about my experiences with my son and how I have had to rely on God's direction on gearing him in the ways of the Lord. He wanted me to share how I instructed my son in his daily activities by using passages or stories in the Bible. God called them Biblical truth for guidance and directing children in His ways. God wanted me to teach children at their level of understanding, the word of God with aspiration of developing a life and pattern of prayer for children. God revealed to me that many Christians have lived the life of a believer but failed to practically instruct their children in understanding God's love for them, even as a child. God does not want our children to have a scripted prayer of "Now I lay me down to sleep . . ." type of prayer, but a prayer that deals with their daily concerns. We as parents can teach them the word of God, which will guide them through prayer-as adults we use the word of God as a guide to steer us along the way. Therefore we are to make the word of God attainable to their child-like understanding while introducing Christ principles to them, teaching them how to utilize the power of prayer along with the word of God. I pray this book guides you in helping your child as it has helped my children. Today my children pray for what is specific to them, whether it be school, a friend, their parents, fear, bullies, or even their dreams while coming to know Christ as a friend that cares . . . as a believer that's a relationship worth developing!
