  • A Recipe For Disaster

    Tina May, Christina Maynes

eBook (Artech Media, Nov. 5, 2013)
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST! Opening a book can get you into trouble. A LOT OF TROUBLE. Oh, they might look all harmless from the outside. Just cardboard and paper. But that’s not the problem. It’s what’s inside that counts. Ink. That’s what does it. And you just never know where you will end up. You see, when Mini found the Recipe Book in the attic of her aunt’s house she thought it was an ordinary book. A plain old recipe book. Boy, was she wrong. But, even worse, she set about making the recipe it contained. (Not a good idea...) She thought it would make something she could eat (seriously!) despite the fact it clearly said ‘A Recipe for Disaster’. She never imagined a chocolate tornado would soon be sucking her out of her aunt’s kitchen. See? Opening books can definitely get you into trouble. And you’ll have to open this one to find out what happens next. But at least you’ve been warned... there’s plenty of trouble ahead!

Right at this moment, Rufus, Mini, Jackson and Vee are going back to Corsair’s Cove. They think they are going to face the dreadfully smelly Captain Savage and the extraordinarily clean and terrifying Pirate King. And, of course, they are. But that’s not the half of it. Arriving back on No Man’s Island they find that things were not as they seemed... In fact, the Recipe Book has A LOT of surprises in store!
