My name is Chelsea,I have written this book from my perspective as a woman, wife, mother, and employer. I also have several guests who have shared some of their experiences. The aim of this book is to help young people succeed as they grow and become better versions of themselves. Whether it’s easy or difficult to understand will depend on a number of factors including:•Your current age.•Whether you have an open mind to new ideas.•Whether you already understand the goal-setting process.•Whether you have already written down some short, medium and long-term goals in precise terms.•If you WANT to change yourself and your life for the better.•If you have plenty of self-confidence.•If you have dreams.•If you have already tasted a certain amount of success.Being young is no obstacle when considering what you want from life, or whether you have already taken steps in that direction in order to achieve your goals. It’s just that you need to tap into various resources to enhance your lack of knowledge.I know that sometimes people’s prejudices can kick into gear and this includes discrimination (just for being female or male, etc) racism and even ageist... being too old or too young. If you face such obstacles, you’ll know it. If you’re confident, you might prefer to deal with it on your own. If not, seek advice on the best course of action. Never let anybody take advantage of you just because you’re female or for any other reason.Sexism is equally true, whether it’s in the classroom, on the sporting field, in the boardroom and everywhere in between. One of the main reasons why prejudice happens is that it’s almost “expected,” to a certain degree. It will continue to be “expected” until enough people raise their collective heads and say in unison – ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! WE WON’T ACCEPT IT ANY LONGER!! If you read (and absorb) the contents of this book, your way of thinking will begin to change. Only then can you fully change your world. There’s a lot of information within these pages that will help you if you’re a parent, teacher, mentor, teenager, or anybody who wants to learn more about success, leadership, how to achieve your dreams and goals and how to help others realise their goals as well. While you can flick back and forth between chapters now and then, learning a little, it’s much better if you can make the time to sit and read this short book from cover to cover the first time. Then you can decide what parts you may want to reread, and you’ll glean a great deal of useful knowledge you can put into practice.Of course, you don’t have to absorb everything in one read. As with all good books, you should revisit as often as you feel the need, because you will gain more knowledge each time you read it. By the end of the book, you’ll have a greater understanding of how to become a leader or mentor, or how to find one to help you achieve your goals. You’ll be in control of your own destiny! The rest is up to you!
