  • Hypatia Time Travels

    Charles Albert Moster

Paperback (Independently published, May 30, 2020)
As a parent, I can attest to the lack of creative books out there which are not about some stupid frog or replication of Disney mediocrity now pushing over a century. That’s why I wrote, “Hypatia Time Travels” which introduces preschoolers to the concept of Time as theorized by Albert Einstein and whether Time Travel is possible. The book is written from the perspective of Hypatia, a renowned female mathematician from the 5th Century who serves as a superb role model for young girls. Our daughters need to learn early on that they can fully actualize their potential. I am hoping that “Hypatia Time Travels”, the first in a series of Children’s books, will illuminate the developmental path.

    Charles A. Keffer

Paperback (Forgotten Books, June 7, 2017)
Excerpt from Nature Studies on the Farm, Soils and PlantsThis work that we are to begin together is not plant study merely, but a study of the growing plant; and our purpose is to learn to help the plants to grow better, so that they may give us larger crops. To do this we must learn something about soils as well as about plants. We shall find that the same law of life applies to plants as to animals and to man. Like us, the plant grows best when it is fed best.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. About the Book Study Guides are books can be used by students to enhance or speed their comprehension of literature, research topics, history, mathematics or many other subjects. Topics that may be contained in a Study Guide include study and testing strategies; reading, writing, classroom, and project management skills. For example, in literature some study guides will summarize chapters of novels or the important elements of the subject. In the area of math and science study guides generally present problems and offer alternative techniques for the solution. Also in this Book A school is designed to provide learning environments for the teaching of students under the direction of teachers. An educational institution facilitates the process of learning, or the acquisition of skills, values, beliefs, and habits. Educational methods include storytelling, discussion and debate, teaching, training, and directed research. Education is commonly divided into the following stages: preschool or kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and then college, university, or apprenticeship. Books on school and education can describe the history of educational insitutions, or discuss techniques for teachers to use in classrooms.
