Nina and Fatema work together with the magic of the Shine to rescue and help unwanted pets rehabilitate from their loss or abuse and get new forever homes. The stories teach the reader to be guided by the spirit within and let the Shine light their way. God is right there in them and all around them. These stories show children how to look for Him.The stories also give tips on how to care for pets and help children realize that pets are a lot like them. They have struggles in their lives, too, and the Shine also guides them.The author is paying it forward by donating 25 percent of the net proceeds of this book to animal rescue work on behalf of the rescue animals that created these stories, and another 25 percent to fight child hunger on behalf of the children reading the stories.
