Of course she accepts this mission and on her way she meets lots of interesting magical characters.This story was created by a 4 year old and a 2 year old over approximately half a year as they walked home through a seaside park on their way home from kindergarten. The editor kept a record of the children’s stories and finally typed them up into this book. The story is mostly about the experiences the little girl has in the fairy garden and there is a sub-plot involving a mischievous elf who learns to be helpful rather than a pesky hindrance.

    An epic fantasy adventure written for children by children. The story is about a struggle to be king but only those who are accepted by the legendary King Tree can become king.This story was developed by a six-year-old and a four-year-old through their play together. They were using Lego which explains why the focus is on destruction and reconstruction. As the children played and narrated the story they were creating, the editor simply wrote it down. The children were asked to fill in any gaps and where the gaps were not satisfactorily filled, the editor embellished the story a little bit. The result is an adventure story that emphasises working together to overcome difficult challenges. It also involves a political power struggle and mythological beasts.

They were using Lego which explains why the focus is on destruction and reconstruction. As the children played and narrated the story they were creating, the editor simply wrote it down. The children were asked to fill in any gaps and where the gaps were not satisfactorily filled, the editor embellished the story a little bit. The result is an adventure story that is primarily about working together to avoid catastrophe. Although there is some fighting and a couple of characters do get hurt, the focus is on recognising that fighting isn’t very helpful and is only used when no other option is available. One character drinks alcohol and the point made is that this isn’t very helpful and can lead to injury. Sensible, kind constructive behaviour is always preferable.

This story was developed by a six-year-old and a four-year-old through their play together. They were using Lego which explains why the focus is on destruction and reconstruction. As the children played and narrated the story they were creating, the editor simply wrote it down. The children were asked to fill in any gaps and where the gaps were not satisfactorily filled, the editor embellished the story a little bit. The result is an adventure story that is primarily about the disadvantages of behaving like a hooligan. Although there is some fighting and a couple of characters do get hurt, the focus is on recognising that fighting isn’t very helpful and that kind constructive behaviour is better.
