In “Christmas in the Garden,” the little gardeners gather to celebrate Christmas in their own special way. This story encourages children to appreciate love among friends and the value of giving. Each book delivers a lesson or message, and a journey that children can learn from. In this series, I have endeavored to captivate and entertain the reader, as well as the listener.

In this initial entry in the series, “Miss Lady Bug” and all of the other little gardeners introduce themselves and explain their purposes in the garden. However, Peep is the teacher and problem solver, dedicated to teaching children about fun outdoor activities, safety, environmental issues, good values, caring, and friendship among all living things. “The Little Gardeners” is a story of young boy and his feathered friend “Peep,” and their relationship with the other critters who dwell in a magical garden. Peep, an ancient little bluebird, is the main character in this series, cultivated from my childhood memories.
