  • I want to be a teacher

    Carla Greene

Hardcover (Childrens Press, March 15, 1957)
I Want to be a Teacher by Clara Greene, Illustrated by Vie Johnson, Children's Press, First Edition, 1957. This appears to have been a Library book at one time. The book is a light green cloth over boards with black and white designs and lettering on the covers and on the spine. The book is tight and square with nice crisp, colorful pages. The dust jacket has been placed in an archival, clear, Mylar jacket for further protection and preservation. Youngest children can enjoy reading about themselves in a classroom where a wise Miss Jones encourages them to search out information on their own. Here Mary, who wants to be a teacher, learns much about Miss Jones and her responsibilities and background for teaching. VERY CUTE!
