This is a short story, for a quick spooky read. Gibbs, a monster destroyer, and his family, move to Arizona, the home of the majestic saguaro cactus. His monster senses kick in the moment he sees the giant cactus living in the front yard of his new house. He knows the towering Saguaro is going to be trouble. A new friend, Caleb, shares the story of a tragic mystery of the disappearance of the entire family that lived there before Gibbs. Strange and menacing things begin to occur. Gibbs wakes up at midnight, "the monster-hour" to find two burning golden eyes staring at him through his two story high window. Those eyes are attached to the giant saguaro. By the morning, the cactus is back in it' usual spot in the middle of the front yard. The next day, a Frisbee knocks off one of its six arms. Gibbs grabs a shovel to scoop it up, but the arm has disappeared, leaving a large dog in it's place. Caleb identifies the dog as "Cowboy", the dog that went missing along with the family who used to live there. Unusual things continue. The lives of those all around them are in danger.
