For a very long time I held poetry as a sacred and secluded hobby of mine; one that I shared cautiously with only a select few people. A few years ago, upon a broader discovery of my work, I was told by some very close people to me that the world needs to read what I have to say. While I don't consider my own writing abilities to be a gift or of any substantial standard, the words of those inspiring its conception have convinced me that they may do some good for the world. Alas, as much as this work was meant to help other people, it has also very much proven to be a discovery of who I am and what I believe in for myself.
