  • Falling In Crying Out

    Bonnie Lee

language (Bonnie Lee, Nov. 13, 2017)
This story is about drug addiction. How it controls your thoughts, your body, your life, and leaves you nothing to fight back with. Your mind will go to any lengths, no matter how depraved, to obtain what your body requires. It will show you doors and how to open them, doors that lead to wickedness, corruption and wanton decadence. Doors that lead you to the very bottom, to the very lowest points of life. To the point where you believe your only option is to overdose. For the eighteen years that I was a junkie, I reached that point several times. My story involves sex scenes, many different illegal activities, police there informers and gangland stories, deaths and murders. Scenes from life in jail. Betrayals. And above all, the unbelievable lengths that junkies will go to to feed their habits. You might ask - how did I come to write, in the most miniscule and intimate details, this sordid story about my disgusting and deplorable past. Am I proud of it? No. Am I ashamed of it? More than you can imagine. However, if this story prevents even one person from going down my road, then it will be worthwhile. And if it helps just one parent of an addicted child to understand what their child is going through, how malevolent and tenacious that drug addiction is, then again, the writing will be worthwhile.I was fortunate enough to meet a couple of very understanding and helpful mental health experts. Were it not for those ladies, then heaven knows where I might be today. This story contains graphic scenes of violence and sexually explicit material. But then, those things are all a part of a junkie's life.
