Danny Orlis has finished the highest grade level at the Angle Inlet school, and now he will be going away to attend high school. He plans to live with his uncle in Colorado and go to school there, but just before leaving he learns that the relatives with whom he will be living are not Christians. When the plane he is traveling on has its radio signal jammed while flying through the mountains, Danny learns a lesson about how dangerous "harmless" violations of the law can be. Danny learns how quickly a compromising Christian loses influence and how important a consistent testimony is.

Danny and his cousin Mike get caught up in a spy chase as they, the FBI, the RCMP, and Danny's father pursue an enemy agent from Minnesota to Point Barrow, Alaska. Will they be able to follow the trail through the lies, deceit and betrayal to expose the enemy agent? Will Danny be able to keep his testimony and spread the Gospel in the atmosphere created by deception?

Danny Orlis was already excited about having his twin cousins come for the summer. While on the way to pick them up, he overhears a conversation that promises to give a special adventure during their time together. Buried treasure, clues from an old Indian chief and a discovered map all add to the mystery. They soon discover they are not the only ones searching for the treasure. < Because of Danny's faithful witness for the Lord, the boys come up with some better ideas about the use of so much money, should they find it. By the time the adventure is over, they have found a BR>far greater treasure than they had ever imagined.

Danny Orlis makes friends with a couple of new kids named Tip and Trixie Blanshard, who have not been well received becasue of the rumors about the reason their father came to the inlet. Danny has reservations himself, but he wants to do a good job of representing Christ. As Danny leads them in exploring the islands, they come across a forest fire tht is just starting. They are able to get it put out, but there doesn't seem to be a good explanation for why it started in the first place. Then Mr. Blanshard has a strange accident and another fire starts and the mystery deepens. An Indian chief friend invites them to a powwow so they can look for clues to the strange happenings. Danny and his friends not only find who is setting the fires, but they get a chance to rescue one of the men from his own fire and tell him about his need of Jesus. Danny also learns a lesson about believing rumors.
