Barbara and her husband, Leon, own and operate a small café in her hometown of Burlington, North Carolina. Barbara also works at a local bank. Barbara enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with her family. If I Could Catch a Train is Barbara's second children's book. She hopes to continue writing children's books and maybe someday a novel. Barbara has dedicated both of her books to her grandchildren who have been her inspiration.
