Falling Fall Leaves describes, in both illustrations and easy to understand words, the joys of being outside, while autumn leaves are swirl down from the trees and cover the ground with a colorful carpet. This book has been designed to provide younger children with a grasp of the fun each of us enjoys at different stages of our lives, with regard to autumn leaves. There are craft ideas, using nature's bounty, at the end of Falling Fall Leaves, especially designed for younger children, with the help of an adult. Additional resources and art ideas are available at my website, www.ReadingIsForMe.com, for younger and older children. Connecting our children to the great outdoors, starting at a young age, helps to bring up another generation with a love for our earth. By encouraging our young ones to explore nature, we are opening doors to a whole new world, which is our home. You, as an adult, have an opportunity to bring your little ones to exciting natural places, where touching, smelling, tasting, hearing and seeing nature is allowed and applauded. What a gift you share with them by reading them Falling Fall Leaves and then giving them a sweet time to just be kids who can freely run around outside. Enjoy the read and let me know what adventures you have with both the children and autumn. I am looking forward to reading about your explorations and discoveries soon.
