It was my first summer at sleep away camp in western North Carolina. Luckily, my best friend & partner in crime was also signed up for the week-long adventure at Camp Wildlife. We both had older siblings that told us their wonderful tales about summer camp. Now it was finally our turn to make some memories. Like most children his age, Asher’s favorite day of the year was Christmas.
