  • Friends Forever: A read-aloud kid's book about horses, friends & adventure

    Anne Dahl

    language (, May 25, 2014)
Children's Book: "Friends Forever" is the first of a series of short stories and tells of two foals whose growing friendship with each other, and the care they receive from humans, helps them face struggles and mature. They grow strong together as young friends, face life alone after being separated, and then through various equestrian twists and turns end up meeting again to enjoy new adventures together. The story shows kids that the people they meet can have both positive and negative effects on them and reinforces the positive values and character traits that all parents want to pass on such as the value of friendship, hard work, listening to adults, and following good advice can help them as children. A modern retake of a classic illustrated horse story which can either be read to your young children, or your older children can read it for themselves or to their siblings.
