  • Slayer for Hire

    P.E. Cunningham

    (Evernight Publishing, Feb. 14, 2013)
Nineteen-year-old Billie Eshleman loves the TV show Slayer for Hire, and has a major fangirl crush on its hunky star, Dylan Garber. When the show comes to her home town to film a movie version, it’s her greatest dream come true. Unfortunately, she’s not the only fan trying to crash the set. A real vampire has fixated on the fictitious “slayer,” and is determined to make Dylan her mate—like, for the rest of eternity. With help from Dylan’s co-star, Matt—an actor with vampire-related secrets of his own—it’s up to Billie to keep her idol from joining the ranks of the undead long enough to finish the movie. And, incidentally, keep herself alive in the process.
  • Chronicles of Dustypore; A Tale of Modern Anglo-Indian Society. A New Edition

    H. S. Cunningham

Paperback (Leopold Classic Library, Nov. 30, 2016)
About the Book The period termed Modern history, is considered the historiographical time frame that follows post-classical history. The Modern history era can be further broken down into periods: 1) The "early modern" period began around the early 16th century, a period that included the Renaissance, the Age of Discovery, and the Protestant Reformation. 2) The "late modern" period began around the mid-18th century; with notable milestones being the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, and the Russian Revolution. Also in this Book History texts study and interpret the past as it may be understood from written documents. The period before written records is called prehistory. Historians use a narrative to examine and analyse past events, and attempt to objectively determine the patterns of cause and effect. Historical studies are not an end in themselves, but also a way of providing perspective on events taking place in the present. About us Leopold Classic Library has the goal of making available to readers the classic books that have been out of print for decades. While these books may have occasional imperfections, we consider that only hand checking of every page ensures readable content without poor picture quality, blurred or missing text etc. That's why we: republish only hand checked books; that are high quality; enabling readers to see classic books in original formats; that are unlikely to have missing or blurred pages. You can search "Leopold Classic Library" in categories of your interest to find other books in our extensive collection. Happy reading!

Gently encouraging conversation between adult and child. A great addition to any child’s home or teacher’s read-aloud library. GINORMOUS JO'S LOST BUDDY Need to teach your little ones the safety rules if they get lost? Want to reaffirm to young children basic safety practices? Let Ginormous Jo and her friends demonstrate the best ways to handle getting lost. In this new adventure everyone listens intently as Buddy, the new neighbours dog, explains how horrible and scary it was to get lost. Of course, he knew he shouldn’t have gone through that open gate alone. But disobeying is forgivable if you find yourself knowing you made a mistake and trying to make it better. In the retelling of his tale, Buddy demonstrates what to do if lost. Find an authority person like a police officer, security guard, lifeguard, or storekeeper. Find a safe place to ask for help, and make a safe meeting point when out with family. The dogs discuss knowing your phone number, address, and full name to give to an authority figure.
