    Burpy Becky and the School Yard Bully is a great read that kids are sure to find educational and entertaining. It shows the kids' hilarious perspective of adult behavior and relationships. Its plotline aptly emphasizes and capsulate the problem of bullying in school and the terror that the victims of bullying experience on a daily basis. It shows just how one courageous person can stand up in the face of fear and make a difference. It also expresses the bonds of friendship and loyalty, the power of forgiveness, and the ability kids have to solve problems amongst themselves. This must-read book can entertain both adults and children alike. It evokes a wide range of emotion such as laughter, curiosity, terror, fear, loyalty, courage, and forgiveness. The reader is drawn into the story as an onlooker watching with great anticipation, empathizing with the victims of bullying with both sets of fingers crossed. Armed with full knowledge that if Burpy Becky's plan fails, any and all student would become a target for Big Rufus's reign of terror, and hence students would be clamoring for places to hide from the wrath of the bully. The reader can hear the growling tummies of hungry kids and imagine them salivating as they watched Big Rufus eat their tasty lunches or feel the pain of a wedgy as a victim is being held by the seat of his pants and see the terror and embarrassment on his face as he is being call undesirable names that could stick for a lifetime. The reader will surely unite with the cause to fight bullying with eyes glued to each page, combing through each word with bated breath desperately hoping for a an end to bullying. The book is absolutely awesome and relatable, and kids will love it!
