“Night-night, little one,” says Duffy’s mommy, but the little rabbit cannot fall asleep. He moves his toys around: monkey next to mouse, big bear next to little bear, and duck in the middle. But it doesn’t help. Mommy brings him a drink of water, but that doesn’t help either. So Duffy starts singing a song to monkey, but that only gets him in trouble for making too much noise.Duffy’s not scared of the nighttime; he’s just lonely and bored because nothing ever happens in the dark. So Mommy sits down and tells him all about the nighttime, when Mr. Fox takes his walk, the Hedgehog family go looking for snails, and Herbert the little badger plays in the very same woods that Duffy plays in during the day. Poor Duffy is getting awfully sleepy now, and as the moon slips its night light into his bedroom, he falls fast asleep.

King Widget has vanished, and once again Digory must give up his simple life of writing poetry and playing his lute to set off on a quest to find the beloved King. As usual, Digory's journey is not without hazard, and Digory must find his courage in order to save the day. With some mud-slinging, a short stay in a dungeon, and―of course―dragons, Digory and the Lost King is a delightful companion to Digory the Dragon Slayer.

When Digby goes to school for his second day he is beset with worries. He can't remember where to line up, or hang his coat, and he thinks that no one will play with him. To reassure him his mother blows a dozen kisses into his pocket telling him that if he feels worried he should take a kiss from his pocket and imagine his Mother with him. But Digby's day doesn't turn out as bad as he feared and the kisses don't get used in this charming and love-filled picture book.
