Lois Ann was an intelligent only child, raised by a loving older father, back in the 1920s and '30s, on a large Montana ranch, where their log cabin had no electricity.Her inquisitive mind and deep feelings for nature, created many situations where a wise father's guidance was needed. Some of the adventures she had included a lost hunter and chasing off poachers. And of course, there were her beloved dogs, horses, and cats. All made up a full and interesting childtime.
