Peggy was not a witch hunter, she was a witch, who hunted, accompanied by her partner, Matt, a historian and expert in myths and legends. Two years ago Peggy accidentally resurrected her ancient relative, who once again started her quest to find what had been taken from her, destroying anyone and anything that stood in her way. Modern methods of defence and protection were useless against this ancient power, but after discovering what she was seeking, Peggy and Matt confronted the witch and were able to send her back to where she came from. But the world was now a different place. For centuries, creatures long believed to be folklore have been hidden amongst us. After the world witnessed the rise of the witch and the powers she possessed, there was a new belief in such beings, they no longer had to hide, and not all had good intent.Having discovered her family’s dark past and the unknown power of witchcraft that had been passed from generation to generation, Peggy learned to control and use her energy. Along with Matt, they have become specialists in tracking down and dealing with these creatures, when all other measures have failed.In their first official assignment, Matt and Peggy travel to Massachusetts. Something is attacking the residents of a small, rural community near Boston.
