    Pansy (aka. Isabella M. Alden) was an American author born in 1841. Alden wrote for adults as well as for children. She also wrote Christian literature and edited several magazines including Pansy for children. Tip Lewis and his friends went to a mission school. They were boys with no reason to learn or better themselves. They were rough boys who came to school to get out of the sun and have a little mischief. When a new teacher takes over their class Tip changes and begins to wonder if he can be the best boy in town instead of the worst. He begins his journey of self-improvement.

Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.
