Reiji thinks he’s no good at anything – especially schoolwork! Then one day he’s introduced to a game called Dragon Drive and gets his very own virtual dragon named Chibi. Small and weak Chibi appears to be as big a loser as Reiji! But after their first battle, Reiji realizes there may be more to his tiny friend than meets the eye.

In the middle of his match with Maria Tsukimi, Takumi runs into (and almost over) Taro, a jaded player who's more into napping than fighting. But he's another Raikoo master, and when he wakes up, he's unstoppable! Then a hacker takes over the D.D. system to reshuffle Earth and Rikyu--and reality itself! As humans vanish into Rikyu and dragons soar through the skies of Earth, Takumi races to find the programmer who can stop the worlds from colliding...
