Carnaval: Flashcards are one of the components in the first year Cambridge French. The full range of material in the programme comprises the Livre de l'élève, Manuel du professeur, Reprofiches, and Cassettes. Carnaval concentrates on a limited number of key structures which are applied to a variety of contexts. Cambridge French is a 5-year programme designed to provide learners aged 11-16 with an enjoyable experience of the French language which steadily expands their ability to use French as a natural means of communication. The material has been prepared by a team of authors to ensure that continuity is maintained, and that learners' personal and linguistic skills and knowledge of vocabulary and key structures is built up and recycled systematically across the 5 years.
