Going Home

language ( May 28, 2014)
In the Manor garden a spaceship was loaded and ready to depart. Inside were twenty distressed orphans, one untamed teenage outlaw and a Koomelta overlord who was recovering from a near fatal injury. All had been recently rescued from the barbaric planet of Suscranis. In charge of the flight were 3 spacemen, Scientist, Engineer and Navigator, plus Willow, the Communicator responsible for helping the passengers to relax and prepare for their new life on Peltrouna. No one expected an easy journey. Watching the departure on Earth were the eleven human members of the Interplanetary Green Ribbon Club. They had been involved in the rescue and were left wondering what the future held for those they had helped. Would the twenty grieving orphans be able to settle on Peltrouna? Would the unruly teenager be returned to Suscranis? And more importantly, would the injured Koomelta survive the journey? Soon the human IGRC members would have to face their own problems. The first involved attending the funeral of someone they had never met. This led to the eleven becoming unwelcome guests at an elegant birthday party at Sawdon Hall. The party-goers returned from this function to find three unexpected visitors making themselves at home in the Manor House.
