The action takes place on 3 planets:-EARTH: during the New Years' Eve party at the Manor members of the Interplanetary Green Ribbon Club realised that the unarmed Peltrounans needed protection on future missions to Suscranis. The team were betrayed. Two of the rescuers were captured and sentenced to a terrifying death in the Suscrani arena. Help from their team mates in the spaceship was impossible because the rescued Iccoshandee on board had mutinied, hijacking the spaceship and taking it far away from the arena.
