Herbie Hermit Crab is an endearing story about a shy little crab who wishes he was as funny, clever, and attractive as the other animals around him at the pet store. When a young girl picks him out of the crowd to be her pet and special friend, he starts to see himself through her eyes and finally comes out of his shell. Herbie then finds his place in the world and learns that being special does not mean being like everyone else....
