The second volume of the Great West Series by Altsheler. The story concerns Will Clarke, a one time captive of the Sioux who rises to favor among the Indians, adopting their customs and lifestyle. Altsheler uses Sioux names for many of the animals and objects in his tale. It is an adventurous story where Will Clarke and his Indian companions venture forth armed only with bow and arrow.
