The crew is back from rescuing the daughters of the Earth's Ambassdor to Mars. As the crew of the Ark prepared to their next mission to the Cretaceous, the pirates were out for revenge. Not only did they loose the two girls and ransom but also a bag of gems and their ship. The head of the pirate clan would make the crew pay. The pirates had an inside informer at Space Central they gave just what they needed to set the trap.
