The Twelfth Carrier

Jennifer is a high school sophomore, just a week and a half away from her 16th birthday. She one of the smartest girls in her class. Jennifer's main concerns are her grades, her performance on the basketball court, and whether her relationship with her boyfriend is as interesting as she thinks it should be. But in one moment, everything changes for her. Her life heads in a completely different and unexpected direction. She learns that the people closest to her are not who she thought they were, that her entire life is not what she thought it was, and that her fate is not only vitally important, but ultimately tragic for her. She comes to understand that she has a duty to fulfill this complicated, fantastic, awful destiny. Her support in this journey comes from her best friend Danni. And, along the way, Jennifer finds love in a completely unexpected place.
