The Caterpillar and the Butterfly

Transformation is never easy. But like the caterpillar and the butterfly, it often occurs in a tough, dark place, out of our own line of vision. Usually its form is not what we expect, and adjusting to this new way of life comes easier and more quickly for some than for others. But come it must, if we are open and willing. Learning how to fly when all we've known is crawling on the ground can be frightening and overwhelming. But each of us has a deepness inside. When we dig deep and draw long, we often surprise ourselves by discovering that just below the surface resides a character of courage. Tapping into its potential takes us to heights we never knew or dreamed possible.
