At the request of her father Judge Clair Rayk Hazen is taking Jan Clair for a flying lesson so she can get her Space Pilot License. All is going well until Rayk's Sky Roamer loses power and is rammed and is captured by three pirate spaceshipsl. Rayk and Jan are transferred to a glass submarine and taken to an underwater city on Plane Splaz. Here everything is stripped from the Sky Roamer to be sold to crooked space traders. Now Rayk must use his wits to save the Sky Roamer, Jan, and himself.
