Seagull Soup describes the annual Gabertay Fair – a social gathering held in a small Borders village. The farmers and their children gather on the village green to enjoy a rare day off . The surprise arrival of a travelling circus with Tipu the Magnificent Indian Elephant and his exotic master Ravi Muckerjee coincides with an unexpected animal protest involving tens of thousands of local birds, mice , foxes six pigs and a goat. Seagull Soup is a humorous light hearted tale of life in a bygone era.
