Ramón

Ramón, an endearing young mouse, lives with his large family in the sleepy Arizona border town of El Valle, where the mice echo the lives of the townspeople. As the Hispanic/American community prepares to celebrate the New Year holiday, Ramón, who is bored with lowly chores and in a hurry to grow up, sneaks away and impulsively sets out on a journey to obtain a special gold nugget. He discovers that he is unprepared for the frightening confrontations he has with dangerous and deadly characters. His journey doesn’t turn out as he had imagined, but his adventures do cause him to grow in his appreciation for his family and understanding of life.
