In The Legend of The Mighty, Mighty Wendell Maddie performs her nightly routine on why bedtime should be extended. Unhinged by Maddie's song and dance, her mother gingerly helps with the magical tale of the mighty Wendell that can do the impossible. He can inspire, even give "wings and the ability to fly." The characters are familiar faces from our everyday lives. They illustrate the power of family and show gratitude towards the sometimes-forgotten father in the African-American community.
