Blackberry Jam

Blackberry Jam is the enchanting story of what happens to Jacy, Zane and their mother when they go blackberry picking along the railroad tracks in the woods near their Grandpa’s Cabin. Their adventure starts when they accidentally ruin a fairy party in the forest, incurring the wrath of the fairy clan. Their quest to set this right leads them to a broken-winged butterfly, an otter slide, a ferrel cat, and a number of other creatures in the forest who sometimes help and sometimes hinder their efforts to complete the task assigned them by the fairies. The story is infused with kid-humor, vivid descriptions of the ancient forest ecosystem, realistic life lessons and magic. This book is beautifully illustrated by Disney animator Kelly James.
