Just Like You

Elizabeth Bobb is the mother of Leah. Leah was born in 2011 with Down syndrome. It is through this book that Elizabeth hopes to spread awareness about Down syndrome, about her daughter and about children just like Leah. She hopes her book will promote inclusion and acceptance of people who are different and for others to understand that people with Down syndrome are just like you and want all the same things in life that you want. As a former school teacher Elizabeth hopes that schools and teachers will use this book in grades Pre K-3 to teach students early on that acceptance and inclusion are important.
