I Spy the Mighty Moon is a story about Sister's transition journey from Momma and Daddy’s house in an urban setting to “Other-Daddy’s” far-away country-home and back again. The moon and a special friend, Lou-Doll, help ease anxieties and fears as Sister negotiates two distinct homes. Ultimately, the uncertain experience of sharing a childhood between two families becomes safe and inviting. The steadfast moon symbolizes unconditional love and watches over Sister as she travels between her two homes.
