The Dragon of Mystery Bay

Geraldine Peterson is bored her mother has put her in day-care and her dad, a truck driver, is out all day delivering orange juice. But then he arrives at the day-care centre early with some good news they re going on holiday! Geraldine is very excited, with dreams of Paris and the Louvre, until her dad tells her they are going camping at Mystery Bay. The idea of sleeping in a smelly truck and digging out latrines doesn t fi ll Gerry with much hope until her dad explains the legend behind Mystery Bay where, 100 years ago, a ship carrying a load of convicts sank, along with hordes of treasure. Some of the convicts escaped, along with the treasure, but neither they nor the bounty have been seen to this day. There is a mysterious cave at the bay, and Gerry resolves that she will explore the cave and fi nd the treasure.
