A Walk in the Woods

eBook (Making A Difference Publishing Aug. 22, 2014)
The animals of the Northern Maine woods are in trouble. After living in relative peace for years, the wolves have been threatening other animals and coercing them into giving them part of everything they produce. As the threat grows, they decide to hold a council to decide what to do about the wolves and their gang. One council member, Brayor the beaver, decides to reveal the fact that the animals can talk to a young boy, Anthony, who is staying in a nearby cabin. Brayor convinces Anthony to come to the council with him and his nephew, Chom, and starts to teach Anthony about the ways of the animals and why they are in danger from the wolves. The wolves, naturally, try to prevent Anthony and the beavers from reaching the council and attack.
