Noire Jillian Opal, preferring to be called Jill, is a psychic seventeen-year-old, who literally dropped everything to move to Maximus Creek, Ireland with her adoptive parents for a fresh start. She soon finds herself in a surreptitious plot between what she thinks is mythology versus reality. Maximus Creek with its three sects is a combination of both with Alewar Trance being the unsuspecting catalyst for Jill's initiation into this life. With myth, magick, deception, and realization challenging Jill's mind, will she accept her new reality?
