This is a story about a pheasant shoot as seen through the eyes of our heroic bird, number 361. Having been told that the ‘camp’ he had been so unceremoniously dumped at, along with 400 other unsuspecting birds, was just a stopover until they would all be taken to Paradise Farm, an idyllic place they would be allowed to live free and happy lives. But 361 soon finds out that it is not Paradise waiting for them, but dozens of men with guns…
So, how does one simple little bird rescue himself and 400 others from certain death?
