'Twas the Very First Christmas: Inspired by The Night Before Christmas

Inspired by the beloved Christmas story, “The Night Before Christmas”. This book follows its traditional rhythm, presenting a modern take on Christmas and the Gospel. In the words, and illustrations, it seeks to remind people that the reason we celebrate is not Santa Claus, or the gifts we place beneath the Christmas tree. For many, Christmas can be a hollow time of sadness. That feeling grows stronger when the gifts have been wrapped, or opened, and we’re still left with a longing in our hearts we can’t fulfill. But Christmas is supposed to be so much more! The real reason for the season is to remember Jesus’s birth, and eventually his sacrifice on the cross that saved humanity from death. Christmas is truly a time of rejoicing for all He did for us, not a time of despair.
