The begging bear

Children's picture book. 1932. Bears. Red textured boards with clean, intact pictorial paste down on front board. Minor rubbing along top front edge and to spine ends. Front board slightly cocked. The DJ is scarce. Not price-clipped (is on flap as $1.00). Chipping, tears, and cracking to bottom edges and spine ends of DJ. Lesser wear to top edges. Some reinforcement on verso with mending tissue. DJ now in protective cover. The interior is clean, book tight. Bear-patterned end papers. Small lightly written number at top corner of ffep. Lovely illustrations.
