Fisher Shoemaker’s adventures all started one early summer night. As he was walking home his head was in a fog spinning from an unexpected very first kiss. Ahh...Sara Banks, he thought. Not paying attention to things around him, he stumbled into a back parking lot when he realized he was witnessing something that didn’t look quite right. Two men were shoving something large into the trunk of a car. Suddenly they spotted him! He sprinted for his life taking cover in his hideout down by the water’s edge. But whoever was chasing him sooner or later would surely find him; he needed to get as far away from Trent Harbor as he could! Living in Maine, just off shore, there were many islands where a boy could hide, but to get there required a boat. He knew just where he could “borrow” the perfect little sailboat to get him there.

Once again, in the second installment of these adventure books, young Fisher Shoemaker finds himself in a situation he can't explain. Once again, in the third installment of his sailing adventures stories, Young Fisher Shoemaker along with Sara Banks are back! Snooping around an old house, they come across a timeworn logbook that once belonged to the less than famous pirate, Captain Bartholomew Bonney who sailed the rocky shores of Maine harbors. Concealed in the logbook is an unidentified entry revealing the location of hidden pirates gold coins. Could there really be gold coins buried on one of the Maine islands – buried pirate’s treasure? Or is it just a ghost story? They had to find out no matter what the costs. Fisher had a plan.
The mystery of the logbook leads these three teens on a high-seas thrill a minute sailing adventure.
