Rise of the Son

The second installment in the fight for Vendria.Kereth Markul, leader of a group of assassins known as the Eth, tries desperately to hold on, while his home of Eth Clavi is viciously attacked. The enemy army is led by a corrupt ruler, Lord Dralin, who would destroy or enslave all who can wield the magics of Vendria. With the support of Lyranna, the Goddess of Chaos, herself, he will settle for nothing less than total annihilation of the Eth. Dralin has destroyed Eth Clavi once before, and now he seeks to do it again.As Kereth's wife lay seriously wounded and unable to wake, and his son, Toresh, struggling to keep composed, Kereth returns home to tend to his family. In an attempt to calm his son, Kereth opens his private journal, and begins to tell the tale of how he became who he is; a defier of Gods, a powerful mage, and a weapon for change in Vendria.
