The Universe is controlled by a force known as the Armada. They have achieved this control with the use of cybertonics – electronic upgrades for humans – which have given them almost total power. A mysterious Admiral leads them, and he has a fierce reputation throughout the galaxy.

When a teenage boy called Mitch Mongoose finds himself on a planet in outer space, his first thought is about getting home. But in fact his problems are only just starting.

After being dropped into Alpha Company, Mitch finds himself training to join with the Armada, but a series of murders puts him and his new friends into grave danger.
