Rebellion

(Tate Publishing May 27, 2014)
In the country of Durthia, the belief that the king is corrupt has been circulating for years and now trouble is brewing. Jergle, duke of the largest fortress in the south, rallies the smaller farm villages and lesser lords to him for a rebellion. He has long been suspicious of the king, but now he has reason to act. He is about to launch his campaign when a runner returns with some information of his own. Quickly, Jergle changes his plans according to the new knowledge, and war breaks out in the kingdom. Seruke, the runner, takes his leave, and begins a journey across the war-torn country to return to his family in the north. However, destruction and lies follow in his wake.
