Runaway

Sámusa, Tal, Risai, and Kaliko are four strangers with one thing in common: they've all run away from their homes, and somehow found themselves imprisoned in the Crystal Palace. Princess Icilla of the North Side makes them a deal: embark on a journey to retrieve a powerful item, one of the three North Sapphires, from a wealthy nobleman who has stolen it from her, in exchange for their freedom.

Although the four have the power of one of the remaining North Sapphires on their side, the task seems nearly impossible. In addition to traveling across the North Side on their own, they must deal with attacks from the noble army, as well as from three members of a mysterious clan who possess the third and final sapphire. Let alone the fact that these four misfits don't even get along! With the fate of the North Side on their shoulders, they set off on a journey that will change their lives. Unfortunately for them, however, the past always has a way of catching up with you, no matter how far you run...
